Hmmm. I seem to recall, from a few years ago, that a certain Head Drongo of the Met Office had been required by the National Audit Office to repay a large part of his large 'performance bonus' from - allegedly - stating he had achieved his contractual targets when this was not the case. Apparently, this practice was not uncommon - but the requirement to repay monies certainly was.

I wonder how things are playing out, now.
