I'm looking for a new waterproof jacket. I fancy a Musto MPX but would never pay normal price for it. Anybody got any recommendations for special show deals ?

I'm after a new pair of duabarry boots or similar...

head for the manufactures stand first if your after clothing... they know more and know who's doing what deals at the show... they often give you a discount voucher to spent also.

The list (excel spreadsheet) is too long (and scary, particularly the total in the "target price" column) to post here. We're hoping the credit-crunch ravaged tills of the exhibitors will ease the burden on our bank balance for all upgrades and additions planned in preparation for escaping to the cruising life next Spring.

P.S. If my bank manager and/or credit card company happens to read this.....you have been warned! :-o

my credit card has been slowly getting paid off over the last year and i have a real gut feeling that next year will be spent paying it off again after saturday :s

Still, a nice set of dubarry's, a lighter/better/less chain, anchor might be the order of the day (21 yrs old with osteoperosis with this anchor if i'm not too careful!!!!!) Plus reviewing all the different sail cloths in preperation for a nice new racing main for next year
