Our first boat was a Shetland Black Hawk, the latest models I think were named Kestrel. It´s a little bit bigger. We loved the design with the angled windows. It has a separated head.

Can I suggest having a look at some Sealine 195’s. Much more modern looking boat and maybe within your budget.

I live in a small town where the Conway boats where built , i have friends who worked their , and as an apprentice i worked next door to the factory , i used to look up at them in their cradles and dream of one day owning a boat . then we were on holiday on the broards on our black hawk in wroxham , years later and sore a falcon 22 , we both stopped wow we have got to have one , but we endes up with two kids and a 4 plus 2 , hey ho.

Interesting. I remember relaunching the 23 or Quayline 245 at the Southampton boat show in 2007. That was a protype model with a volvo D4 260hp and was a bit of a rocket machine. I then sold a further 5 of them. At the time I was going to take over most of Falcon, but the company called Stelco took the rest of the products and integrated the 29 ( replacement for the Falcon 27) and the velici 34 in the Birchwood range as they've were trying to get in to the American Market , but this flopped for them and the end of Birchwood again.! The Falcon 22 moulds i only recently got end of last year to from a boatyard in Norfolk to the add to the collection. A modern version now , i may do , similar lines to sealine s23 with a curved windscreen using he same hull as the Falcon .
