I saw two Moodies 36 offered for sharing. Each boat was built in 1983 and is, apparently, in good enough condition. One is lying on Mallorca, the other in the Ionian. The boat on Mallorca is on offer at £6k for a third share, the one in Greece at £6k for a sixth share. Why might the boat in Greece be worth twice as much as the one in Spain? Any experiences and ideas for questions one may want to ask before flying out to view?

These are very old boats that can need a lot of work. Asking price for a good one is around £35k, but variable because of condition. I would expect the one in Mallorca will have potentially higher running costs, but total value less than £20k raises alarm bells!

Three way syndicates potentially easier to mange than 6 person, on the other hand if you get the usage you want, costs will be lower spread over larger number of peoiple.
