Setting Up A Blog

Pending arrival of our new boat, we thought we would set up a blog. Looking around at various forumite's blogs there are at least a couple of choices of host and they seem much the same.

So, any advice as to where to go and what things to post or not post?

It the Google blogger page. It allows a user to integrate with loads of other useful Google products, email, Picasa (for photos), Google maps, Google earth, etc

Just a word of caution, The Sunday Times article today included this
"the evidence of failed diary-keeping cannot be easily erased from search engines that continue to provide links to blogs that have lain dormant for years"
