After some 26 years could no longer justify the expense of our 12m flybridge as we no longer have the time to use her regularly like we used to. After much agonising made the decision to sell and now wait and wait and wait.
This is made much worse by having found the (much smaller) boat I want. Not just the type or make but the actual boat that is up for sale and which I could afford. I know it will sell before mine moves so I'm just punishing myself by even looking. This is made even worse by the fine weather now hanging around.
Having had a buyer last autumn ready to hand over the cash who was taken seriously ill and had to withdraw after sea trials and good survey is even more of a b*gger!
He was kind enough to give me the survey report so I was able to sort the few soppy little things the surveyor found to pad out his report so not all bad - just mostly!!!
Feel a bit better now!
