I bought a pair of these and fitted them ok but the problem is that the winch handle will not fit down fully and lock into position because of the extra height......so what was I supposed to do? go off and buy new special handles? Anyone know the answer to this?....they were just thrown there with the other useless junk.....that is supposed to be a big help on board!

Did you put them on the right way up - they should only protrude a few mm above the top of the winch. The previous owner of my boat had put them on upside down and moaned about them /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

nb it's a lot easier to put them on if they are upside down - should be like this:
(and no comments about riding turns etc - the boat is on a pontoon /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Thanks, but I won't take you up on that Ridgy. If I decide to purchase I want to be sure of the fit.
