Hi, I have a later seaworker22 and i am fitting a 160hp @2200rpm engine with a 1.5:1 box, what prop size would you advise? There is enough room to swing a 14.5" prop

If you call C&O Engineering in Newton Abbott Devon, give them all the relevant details, they will run the calcs and tell you exactly what prop you need.
if it's a standard prop they probably have a blank on the shelf that they then bore to your shaft / taper size and post it out to you.

I have no affiliation at all with them, but have used them for all my stern gear requirements over the years and they are a really good and cost effective company to deal with.

For a second opinion, I have had excellent dealings with Clements Marine in the past. Paul Williams the MD is a guru.

No vested interest, just a very satisfied customer

With the prop size limit you have & relatively low rpm they will probably recommend a change to 1-1 gearbox. You may still struggle to absorb that HP with that size restriction.
