I’ve bought a Facor filter and want to install it in parallel to the existing fuel filter suppling our boat’s D1-20 engine. This should make for a quick and easy change-over if a filter blocks at sea.

From discussions on here it appears that the filter’s inlet/outlet ports take a M14 1.5 fitting but what size ID hose is usually used on these engines? I’d like buy the bits to tee into the existing hose but cannot measure it as it is a few hundred miles away and my callipers won’t reach that far. I think it is 10mm ID with a smaller hose from the filter that supplies the erber. Is this right?
