hi there....just wondering if theres any other searover28 owners out there...we've got a 1967 rover...in 2 years ive seen 2 more in this area...

I went to the Baltic (first ocean voyage) in one in1976, from Pin Mill. Tubby, not especially fast but she got us there and yes they have that distinctive little lift halfway along the gunwales. I fel cheered whenever I see one, which isn't often

The Searider Group would be very interested in you joining us ...

I started a Yahoo group a few years ago for Searider, Sunrider and Searover boats ... intention was to collect together as much information as possible about the boats of the long gone Searider Yacht Co. Poole ... the Searover was added to the list in error actually - but so what ... they are all good seaworthy boats and you now know of a place to come in and chat ...

So all you have to do is get a Yahoo ID - you may already have one from Yahoo Messenger ? and join :>

My father used to have one. Built in Ramsgate, then trucked to the Med for a few years. Brought back to blighty and I think it ended up on Windermere.

Bit slow, but we had a lot of fun with her. Remember standing my first solo watch aged 9. Bit of a struggle to see over the coachroof.
