JEANNEAU LEADER 805 Used Boat for Sale 2001

This looks pretty good then, even with the vat added

Petrol engine pushes the price down, and it's an early one.

You'd have to add VAT and transport to UK so it's going to be £30K+. It doesn't look as though it has a canopy and the cockpit upholstery looks pretty rough. Sort that out and (assuming no other issues) it's going to be what, £35K-£40K? Not bad for a petrol 805, but not a bargain.

Blimey!! You have made a fair bit on that at the moment!

Well sort of but if you dont want to sell it not rearly....... My old Dad (A Farm Worker) built his home himself for I think £3,000. When someone told him it was worth £500,000 years ago they said he had made a lot.... My dads reply was well I want to live in it and it is not like you can take a brick out of the wall and spend it is it..... So to him he had made now't Which is true in my world also

Yup, I think you were spot on when you said this:

Still a fair way from an 805 Leader at £50K+ with a diesel though.
I don't think you can compare 805 with an S24, different size boats. The leader 805 used pricing is more comparable with the Sealine S28 (£40k to £65k?) as both have similar layouts etc, a quick google search shows a few for around £45k. I suppose ignoring the twin engine aspect although there are single engine S28, I think the S28 would be my choice for the money.

Agree. Was confused myself with the comparison.
