Think it's a redundant kill cord switch

Sealine sports cruisers do not have kill cords a factory fit standard.
That doesn't exclude later changes by the boat owner.
However I think this is highly unlikely.

I don’t - I had an S24 and that was not an option.

It has a Volvo sticker, looks original.
Kill switch versions look different.

Did bigplumbs not confirm in post 10 that it's the tilt (rather than trim) switch?

Same as SL-3 side mount except the switch is on the left side of the throttle lever, the unit is fitted to a Volvo diesel engine with outdrive.
