I am currently looking to buy a sealine F33 or an F34 and I have seen an F34 that I am interested in. The boat will be kept at an inland marine with access to coastal waters however there are a number of bridges / pipe bridges that need to be tackled before reaching the coastal river. Many of the flybridges at the marina have folding or hinged radar arches / masts and the Sealine dealer advised that most boats come direct from from the factory with the arches already on hinges.
I have seen an F34 I like the look of but the radar mast is like a 'stub' fixed to the back and the brokerage has advised that this is fixed and NOT on hinges. Does anybody have any advice on this and how this is attached and whether it is easily removed / modified to accommodate hinges etc. The marina where the boat is for sale is almost 150 miles from my home so do not want to make such a trip because this would immediately stop me buying the boat.
