Can any one tell me the difference between a Sealine F33 and statesman 33

I am not an expert, but I believe the 330 was upgraded to the F33 in about 96/97. I do not know if they use the same hull/spuerstructure, but are fairly similar to look at with the untrained eye.

I really like the F33, it appears to me to be a well built and versatile boat. I have looked at a few, but as we are currently based on the river, the flybridge is too high for our current needs.

Yes, I think that's right. Pretty sure that the F33 was essentially re-badging of the 330 - as applied to pretty much all the Sealines at the time when the F came to designate flybridge, S sportsboat and T their larger cruisers 46ft +. The 360 became the F36 and the 390 indirectly turned into F43 via an extended bathing platform and the 440 became the F44.

Experts may know if detail changed with the name change, but in the case of the F33 pretty sure it would only be cosmetics. The big change came when it was replaced by the F34.

I have got the older 330. From what I could tell the boats are identical apart from the F33 tends to have more modern fabrics in the seating areas. The 330 also has some dated stipes running down the side but these come off with a bit of hard work. My view was my boat is a 1996 and most had horrible interiors, so I bought the cheaper vesion and will re-upholster when I can afford it. If you need to compare a 330 with a 33 just send me an email and I will tell you if i've got it!!!

Schizo Sealine

Mine has an F33 badge and also the nice chrome 'Statesman' logo along the flybridge. It is a 1998, which I think was when they were transmuting from 330 to 33.
Whatever it's called, so far I am loving it.

Same hull, and thats the f34 too, just different tops, its evolved from the 310, thats how old the design is.

Remember last week when we were looking at the f43, remarks about the overhang and why its fresh air rather than useable planing length?????

It was technically developed from the 30 Flybridge of 1983, which became the 305, 310, and then 320.

From memory now the 330 was basically a new hull, changes included engine centres were increased, and was the start of the next phase in the model history.

As far as I have been able to find out the 30 was the first but got slated for rubbish sea keeping and handling this led to a new hull on the 305 which stayed the same bar moulded bathing platforms and concealed anchor moulding for the 310 and 320, for the 330 the underwater sections are the same but the hull sides were flared by 3" each side above the waterline to give more interior space. This was then rebadged as the F33 with the addition of more steps on the bathing platform a glass transom door in place of the sealing fibreglass one and uprated interiors. Later 33s also got the Kad32 lumps in place of the 150hp AD31s as the smallest engine option.

Have heard different storys on the F34 ranging from same hull to same hull with modified spray rails to all new hull.

Sealine told me the F34 is a new hull made a bit beamier as well to try and increase the stability over the F33 with them not being a large boat for a fly.
