Had a word through the back door at Kidderminster. The vent may still be available, hinges / catches more a problem.
You need to take a photo of the parts you want, then contact your local dealer. They will pass the photo to the factory, they will then check moulds and stock.
If you need switch gear or charging spares come to me.
Can you keep me posted how you get on.
Since they bought in the new system, spare orders seem to have droped, I am not fully happy that the dealers are keen on dealing with spares for non-current boats.
If there is a problem I will have to get the new spares site up and running, and get a little pro-active
I've heard that the Dealers might not be that helpful on older models?? I will be at the boat beginning of July and will take the photo's and then pass them on to Burton Waters as they are the nearest. I will keep you posted on how I get on.
Many thanks.
I have a feeling that it may be the case, due to a drop in spares orders. Which also means that owners could be loosing a lot of money, as electricians are changing systems when they could be changing a unit. Know to one owner who got a bill £1250 for a new charging sytem, when he needed a £45 spare relay unit.
Would be interested to know if people get problems with spare supply for older boats from the dealers. When the system was changed the factory assured me that dealers would handle all boats, and if that is not the case I will sort it out with Sealine.
