Seal spotted

There's been one in the Teddington Reach since early May. May be the same one has wandered further round.

We were moored up in Newtown last weekend and a resident seal kept playing with our anchor buoy, dragging it under then racing back to the surface before it.

Our neighbours caught it on video (10'40")

Ron Seal is well known on that part of The Thames. He has been spotted up as far as Windsor. He's learnt to use the locks to get to other parts of the river. There were also reports of another at Kingston on the same day Ron was seen at Staines. Anglers hate the seals in the Thames
