Reminds me of a story (don't groan)
Whilst on a run in my Enterprise and rather overpowered, A sudden gibe
overturned us tipping out crew and dog.
I recovered the crew but the dog had other ideas and made for the shore
There was considerable hilarity among the group of dinghies as I had to chase the dog around the beach with her barking at me. She had obviously decided that I was too incompetent to trust me to take her home safely.

Know how you feel, we had to have the dog in the lifejacket in my photos put to sleep 2 weeks ago. You don't half miss them - it's nice to see the pictures up though.

They always look lugubrious but I can vouch for the fact that they both like(d) sailing. The first time Bomb, the white boxer, went out in a breeze we were concerned (6 yr old rescue never sailed before). She rolled upside down on the leeward seat and "quacked" with enjoyment ! And Kerri, the other one, has to be bribed to go home !
