Well I'm going. KevO expressed an interest, if he can ever stop wildlife spotting.

Make you're own plans once we've crossed in company. I'll probably stay for a couple of weeks minimum. Dates not firm yet. Anyone else interested?

I'm not organising anything, just saying.

Did I hear you say Camaret and a mass meal at one of the excellent sea food restaurants?

It is possible to get a chunk of the outer marina "reserved".

Looking at the tides, and bearing in mind that newbies to Chenal de Four will find it less challenging on neaps and in daylight, may I suggest you dis-organise for the crossing to be...

9th to 11th June
23rd to 28th June
10 to 12 July
22 to 28 July

And for the return a detour via the Scillies is always a possibility.

Our preference is 10-12 July, as we have a child sitting A2's. I know Erbster was interested, but he couldn't come until 22-28 July. This is going to be the main summer holidays for those of us with work and family commitments, so retirees will have to work around that I'm afraid.

Might be up for it in June but not in July with the French all on holiday!

I didn't get over there this summer, but it wasnt too crowded at Camaret, certainly nothing like Helford or Fowey, in the 3 years before this.

Except when the Mosquito fleet comes in, and that is a colourful sight to see.

I'm not keeping a list this time as it's pointless at this stage. Good to see that there is an interest out there.

Sounds good to me whatever the dates may be I shall probably try, but Comrade should book the inner marina not the outer for a rally type visit, much more convenient, not so far to stagger. Nearer the time I may be able to offer spaces aboard for willing hands.

Watching this with interest

Interested, but would have to be school hols. Never done a channel x-ing in my little boat....
SWMBO needs selling on the idea.
