I'm well up for KevO's Falmouth Nights, but if the weather on Saturday is totally pants enough to stop me getting to Fowey, but I could get there on Friday, I might go on Friday.

Is your boat going to be finished? I shall be in Mylor from this coming Sat for a couple of weeks.

Ah but then you have ignored Clause 4 of sub-para 16.1, Section 7, Chapter 5 of the non-rules which, if they existed, would say "Russell will be buying the second round of drinks (following Comrade Red in accordance with Clause 3 above) and any claims that his Cornish designed and built vessel is unsuitable for the safe navigation of Cornish waters shall be declared bogus and inflammatory and punishable by the award of a forfeit yet to be decided by a panel of his peers in accordance with sub-para 7.

On s serious note... Have you got a handle on how many will be joining the Falmouth evening of culture on the Friday? I want to be able to pull a plan together and give my friendly barkeeps a heads up and maybe arrange a buffet or summat (at my expense... Don't panic).

Laundryman and I were thinking of headin to Falmouth before Fowey so might be there. Don't count on us but do let us know the where and when :)
 
All Falmouth attendees - on the Friday afternoon how would you feel about heading up to Malpas for a bbq and beer at my place. Moor up on either of the pontoons then short ish row to my place which has a pontoon (dries +/-2 hrs LW) ). I may be pursuaded to do a taxi run in my rib.

Blimey. So, if I've got this right...

Friday afternoon buffet and drinks at the Kremlin in Malpass, followed by KevO's Falmouth pub crawl, followed by sail to Fowey, followed by Gallants buffet and more beer?

It's starting to get a flow going. :encouragement:
 
Unless I've missed something earlier among the almost 300 posts, nothing is fixed on Friday for the Eastern contingent. I'm planning on being in Cawsand with a possible foray ashore to the Devonport.

I've not seen anything concrete for the Plymouth posse. I guess they were all waiting for a leader to step forward. Well done!!

It's not a crawl... I don't wanna put anyone off... It'll be a few pints (or fruit -based drinks for the ladies :-) ) and nibbles in a special selection of choice establishments (5 or so) ending up at the Locker no doubt.Honestly... Party as hard or as ever else you choose.

I'm in for all of Friday and Sat and Sun. My boat is on a FHC mooring and we could put at least another boat on with me.
I'm happy to taxi in my rib until I'm poissed . My prob at the moment is my crew have probably bailed, money etc so I can't give final figures for catering until this Fri. Happy to give lift for anyone Falmouth to Fowey and back.
Is this a chaps only gig only cos I could possibly bring a young lady.
Anything else I can do to help just yell.

Sounds like a good non-plan to me SL. As long as Cawsand is suitably sheltered (of course).

Were you in there on Saturday-a catamaran with an aero rig?

With much regret, I'm going to have to withdraw Ariam's entry from the list. My crew's business partner's dad's died, meaning that he (partner) can't do the important job they have booked in LA, meaning that he (crew) has to go instead, meaning that our plans for the two-week triangular cruise have been thrown into disarray :(
