Has no-one offered Twister Ken a berth yet? Didn't think he was that bad ,maybe waffled a bit...:D
Oops just seen the list; Ken sailed with me on a couple of these -- kids still in awe at his sub-5s one handed bowline!

Would love to have hitched a lift with someone this year but, A level results permitting, I expect to be carting my son off to a Fresher's Week somewhere (Sheffield, hopefully) that weekend so I'm going to have to take a rain check :( Hope everybody has a blast.

You can certainly buy them from Ensign Flags in Liverpool. Not listed on their website, but email or phone and ask for the YBW Tipsy Mouse. They'll make any size, but 18" is standard. These are the ones I organised when Haydn retired; they're different from the originals in that they're conventional burgee construction rather than the heavy double-layered upholstery, but the actual design is identical.

Henryf in the mobo forum was going to have a batch made to reproduce the original double-layer type. I'm not sure whether that has actually gone ahead yet; you could try PMing him if you prefer this version.

I have one of Henry's. Lovely thing, but it does take quite a breeze to make it fly.

I didn't want to be accused of bigging "my" version up too much. But yeah, owning one of each, I now always fly the Ensign one on the boat. The Hadyn original would look perfect on display in a club bar. Possibly the heavier weight works better on a mobo at 20 knots?

I will try to make it this year. We are presently sailing in the Gulf of Riga in the Eastern part of the Baltic, but already working our way westwards, so we should be back by then.

If you could make it, it would be great to see you again. :encouragement:
