Well, i am very sad to say that my fiancee and i have broken up and gone our seperate ways. The boat is on the market.. Broken dream eh!?

sorry to hear that. i'm sure you're going through a tough time but from a slightly older (not that wiser)...when one door closes another one opens. i'm sure it's not the end of your dreaming - find a new one (or rework the old one) and go for it. do you need to sell the boat? couldn't you find alternative crew / mates and sail her anyway?

Hi, thanks for all your replies. Yes i don't want the boat anymore as its just a broken dream with some bad memories. I am hoping to get a quick sale on the boat (unlikely) and get south asap. probably after xmas now. I am still going away to do what i set out to do. I won't be taking the boat. Anyone who has any thoughts as to where might be best to sell then please let me know.

i often find myself looking a boat porn (don't tell ninky, she's my one and true love but sometimes it's nice to have a bit of nauti eye candy to fuel those sailing fantasies) on boatshed.com so it may well be worth listing on there.
