SBS - interesting find

It is pretty much what some of us were calling for a while back, a magazine covering older boats and with practical articles in it. Nice one Neale & Claire!

I'm impressed as well. An interesting read good first edition. Perhaps this is the alternative many of us who have cancelled our subscriptions to MBM etc. have been waiting for.
Actually looking forward to the next issue.:)

I hate "in" comments I don't understand like "Does that mean Neale and Claire have left MBM?"

However this seems to address an issue that current boaty mags ignore. They are either focused on salt water based £200k+ megga boats or narrowboats. Very little on the river boats that so many of us realise are all we will ever afford.

Best of luck.

Its not really an "in" comment if you ever read Motor Boats Monthly. Neale & Claire, who worked on that magazine, are now behind the new magazine.

Thanks Ramage - I have been a subscriber for the last five years or so - just never got onto first name terms I guess. Apart from the guy in glasses who loons around at high speed in the latest megga boat (Nick) I wouldn't recognise anyone from the team by their first names.

Great new mag though and addresses a rather large niche that was never going to be filled by two pages of "river life" in MBM I hope they will have every success.
