Sardinia Summer 2015

I think that MapisM and Deleted User should be out here from around the 28th June
Look forward to meeting you
+1 on looking fwd to catching up with MYAG.
Actually, myself and S will arrive on the 29th, right in time for the St.Peter event with the traditional boats procession in the harbour.
Just in case MYAG would be interested, and could manage to anticipate his arrival by one day... :)

Yup we will be in CF afternoon of Sun 28th June, God and Easyjet willing. Petem of this parish will be joining us on Mon 29th June

I certainly will be and am looking forward to it (apart from the boat envy that will be further exacerbated by MYAG's arrival :)).

Pass on your boat envy..........before you depart buy one of those seaside(Skegness special)type Captain's hats.
Wearing that in the marinas as you hop from boat to boat will surely make the package deal holidaymakers green with envy ;)

Pah! That's stuff for sissies in comparison to my original, made in Оде́сса for the Soviet Navy hat...

When is your flight scheduled to land, P? Ours is for 1pm, and depending on yours we might go to CF together.
Actually our car isn't at the airport atm, and we should go grab it first, but I'll give you more details if timing suits.

I did have a quick glance over this thread a little while back, but I can't remember whether you guys were planning to head over to the East coast? We'll be travelling up that way over the next couple of weeks, so if you are in the area we might bump (hopefully not literally!) into you!

Myself, I definitely will not be around there shortly.
I do have half a plan with some friends to rent an apartment near the Orosei Gulf and a RIB for day cruises, but only around the end of the season, say mid of Oct.
And that's not yet 100% positive, anyway. For how long are you thinking to stay?
In the meantime, you might wish to have a look at this previous thread, showing just one of the many beautiful locations along that coast.

MapisM

You need to appreciate that he has a v important rendezvous to make at the Scuttlebutt Cherbourg trip in September! As I recall it, he and Tree owe me a drink! :D

I wasn't aware of that, is it before or after the 2nd week of Sep?
If after, beware: your liver might need a while to recover, after a full week in CF! :D

Just picked up on this thread as a result of chatting to Cardo on the pontoon at Monastir this arvo. We're heading north tomorrow, via Pantelleria, toward SW Sardinia before heading off toward the Balearics. All things being equal theres a fair chance we'll be around Carloforte at the end of June, sounds like a bit of a party! Who to contact about berthing ?

Oh, & Mike (Hurricane) - we hope to be in San Carles for the winter again, and next summer, so look forward to seeing you there.
