What a dream crossing, great pics, thanks for posting Hurricane. You look to be moored on the northern wall, your bow facing towards the ferries?

Fabulous stuff Mike (and M). I really enjoyed reading that. Well done with the weather picking!
Great sexy upgrade on the voice - think I'd set it for 5 minute intervals not 30!
And 8th season for JW - seems only like the other day I was reading your build and delivery threads - sheesh, how time flies!
30min on the voice logger is plenty frequent enough.
Believe me, after a long passage she starts to become a bit irritating.
Also, we tend to forget her after we arrive and she often "spouts fourth" just as we are docking - can be a bit confusing for the dock masters!!
LOL, it's nice to see that there are some connoisseurs who know everything about CF even if they live some 10k miles far away...!You look to be moored on the northern wall, your bow facing towards the ferries?
Just checked Deleted User's boat and she is fine.

Funny you should mention that C, because I spoke with E recently, and he's in CF at the moment, but busy with the last bits and pieces of his newly built (and beautiful!) sea front house. Both boats must not be too far from E's yacht that we checked on.
I will see if it will upload onto Youtube and post it later if anyone is interested.
Late season, is always better - I believe that Pinacle is coming out here in September - that should be the best time.
Still, we should get some good water temp in a few weeks.
Great minds etc. - that's the preferred transport system on the island also for myself and the boss!getting round by bike has been easy - especially as we have electric bikes!!
LOL, I see that you already enjoyed the Mistral landscape from the NE tip of the island, aka "La Punta" (The Point).Yesterday, we decided to check out the north - mistral still blowing.
You wouldn't have thought that this was the same bit of water that we took those pics when approaching the island last week.
All confirmed, it's pretty much the same in CF, in my experience. Our experience from cruising round Mallorca at this time of the year is that it takes until about mid June before the water temperature becomes bearable enough to enjoy. Lets hope that it is the same here.

Indeed, but I wouldn't try to follow them with a boat like JW, in that specific point! I go round the external rocks also with mine, fwiw.It seems that the locals know where they can cut the corners!!
