Hi all

What document do you use for a boat sale (I'm sale agreed)

Is there a special form, or would an A4 letter do?

I think that is the sort of thing the RYA has a lot of information on.

Buying a boat is a 3 stage process. viewing and then making a conditional offer which if accepted results in a contract between the parties, usually subject to a survey and sea trials. The price may be renegotiated if the survey shows up something that was not obvious when the offer was made. on completion the seller provides a Bill of Sale which passes title to the buyer.

Bill of Sale: The process is quite clear and there is plenty of information on this forum from skilled owners; I just miss a usable docx template.

I search a simple "bill of sale" for a motor vessel / used motor yacht - can someone post a link to a template in docx / or pdf?
