Look for another boat, but if opportunity arise suggest the 'Owner' buys himself a rechargeable drill with say a 13mm drill bit - I reckon he will get at least 5 holes in before she sinks so low as to flood the batteries on the drill. Then he can place the boat on the list of assets she owns (including the obligations to recover the bloody thing).
