I wish to thank you for this post. I am soon to undertake just such a venture and found many of the comments useful and heartwarming. My young friend Jamesie appears to have fallen out with tangomoon whom he considers an ageing mammary - fortunately the elderly friend with whom I am undertaking this trip does not fall into this category although he can be a bit of a dick at times
