Bit like born again ChristiansA bit different.
The mum did go on a bit about minimising impact on the environment which was 'off putting' in the end.
Nice dinghy thoughThe tinky-plinky ukulele music is enough to make me want to beat the kids over the head with said ukulele. And it gets worse in the second one.
Kingfisher 22 …….unadulterated luxuaryBah Humbug! .... absolute luxury!!!
Back in the day, our family of 5 went cruising on this .... bet they're not sleeping three abreast in a cramped forward cabin with condensation dripping off the roof. Admittedly, we did have an engine when it worked.

I believe that they are live aboard rather than cruising. Would make a difference. Engine out, more storage space or another bunk ....Bah Humbug! .... absolute luxury!!!

To a small child, 3 weeks is an eternity, and on a Kingfisher 20+ on the West Coast of Scotland it felt like liveaboard ...I believe that they are live aboard rather than cruising. Would make a difference. Engine out, more storage space or another bunk ....

In the summer of 1989 I spent a very pleasant week sailing on a Kingfisher 20+ from Southampton to Poole with 4 pals - it was a slow and leisurely booze cruise. The passage plan only stipulated a different pub every evening. It did not really matter where the pub was.......![]()
I was the smallest of the five, so my bunk was on the floor in the 'saloon'. And we had a wonderful cruise.
I only had a week of leave from work, so I had to return on the train - the other lads had 2 weeks, and they managed to get as far as Weymouth before returning to Southampton in leisurely fashion.
