The fear of our chair!!!
We left this morning from st Pierre in Martinique wind great, we brought Dominique through the east to the winds so, beautiful sun beautiful sea....
About 2 hours from our arrival at Marie Galante to pick up Dominique our partner for the deck back we see the star of the coast guards coming on us with the lights... there we are to go to Dominique, we are talking and Let's negotiate, they say we have to pay because we pass Dominique (without stopping I say) we don't want to go to Dominique we are French and we are getting ready for the deck back, we made our quatorzaine, and they want get on board, my answer is negative because of the coconut 19 they follow us we are getting closer and closer to Marie Galante...
Pascal went down in the meantime to call the cross, and they take out the machine guns and make me see them well, I call Pascal who connects them to the cross.
Dominique's side guards approach us violently and get on the boat with the rifle, they absolutely want us to go to Dominique.
Our sailboat is rough on the starboard side.
In communication with the Cross these tell us to cooperate that they contact Dominique.
The civil security helicopter is flying over us is taking pictures.
The guards tell us they're going to take us to porthmout''s to ask questions.... with the sailboat about 3 hours of sailing.
I pass some details but after an hour of sailing to Dominique the star comes to the 2 guards on board and we understand it's going to be too long, so they take pictures of our papers and passports and us say we can go back...
But they have to go back to their star we put some by covers but obviously the star goes on to us where there is no one and we hear it crack the gel coat, Pascal plague but what to face people in such bad faith ??
We can finally go back to sailing for Marie Galante.
We arrive at the night fortunately welcomed by Dominique and other boating boating.
We would like to thank the cross for taking us out of this bad pass and for hearing from us after...
This is the worst boating experience we've had to go through. But we are boobs and sound despite our big fears..."
Your view ?
I think they should have stayed at their original anchorage.
Should not have gone through Dominica's Territorial waters.
Is it OK to leave one French Island to go to another French Island without clearing customs immigration?
