This summer we continued our voyage around the Baltic from Kappeln in northern Germany, along the German Baltic coast to Rügen, up to Bornholm in Denmark, then to Sweden , where we explored the archipelago and ended up in Lake Mälaren, west of Stockholm, where we are overwintering. Lovely country, great people, stunning scenery. Over the six months, weather and winds were favourable for most of the time, and our perception is that our sailing % was more than usual (although I haven't yet calculated it).

For those interested, the blog of our trip, musings and ramblings en route is at 2022: The German Baltic Coast and Sweden

Thanks. I look forward to browsing through some of them. We spent many happy summers in the Southern Baltic, though with doing less research than you have achieved. I probably spent too much time drinking Stortebecker in its various guises. My one regret being that the brewery was closed on the Saturday morning that I managed to cycle there.
