Sailing Tender Suggestions

Thank you JumbleDuck (post 28) for very generous offer of a Bobbin hull but with you in Scotland and me on Isle of Wight collection not really an option what with Covid on the rise again. One thing I would like you to do if, it is not too much trouble, is to measure the depth of the hull at mid length. If you could lay a batten across the gunwales and measure down vertically to inside of hull above keel I could compare with my existing dinghy which has inadequate hull depth and freeboard. Thank you in anticipation.

I'll have to agree with the Bobbin suggestion having towed one for the last 15/16 years or so. It will happily carry 2 adults and enough food/drink/clothing/kitchen sinks for a fortnight away in reasonably smooth water. The kids learned to sail in it. We row out to our mooring in it. We visit the far reaches of Newtown harbour using a Mariner 2HP. I must admit to not sailing it very often, basically too lazy. Oh, and it actually looks quite nice too.
