Sail Repair thread

I have acquired the use of a sailmakers sewing machine to restitch some sail seams. The sails are dacron, but don't know the weight. the boat is a 10m sloop.
What is and where can I buy suitable UV inhibited thread (polyester?) on the internet for the job.
