Good Day.

Grateful if anyone knowledgeable on above boat would confirm position of black water sea valve ( & diverter valve) in aft lazarette locker, when fitted by Saga boats as an option. Would like to install capability of direct overboard discharge when underway in open waters, as my boat supplied without this option at build. If time allows a digi photo or two would be very useful.

Being a new owner of the boat I would be very pleased to hear from any other owners by pm in order to share knowledge, experience and fixes. Please pm me as you wish. (My technical knowledge is limited.)

Thank you.

This is a sample I found...... you need the first picture to understand where the second is taken ... looks like starboard side to me...

Thank you very much Alf,

It looks very familiar and I will be in a similar space replacing the holding tank manual overboard pump on Wednesday. Eagerly anticipated work..

Just one additional question, if you have info on it. I believe that if a direct overboard discharge from the head is fitted through the diverter valve ( discharge either direct over side or alternatively to holding tank) do you know the exact position of the skin valve fitting and diverter valve ? The Saga operating manual indicates both items forward of the holding tank, and I was particularly interested in the exact location of that overboard valve, as fitted by Saga, so I can discuss fitting with the boatyard at the end of the season.

I apologise for not making myself clear in my initial post.

Many thanks.
