Came across this whilst looking up firework displays, looks interesting, waterproof, 400 hours, not too expensive. Any opinions?

I can imagine using one in a dinghy, though an ordinary torch would probably do as well. Maybe one red and one green, and perhaps flashing for fun.

I didn't see any mention of waterproofing, so I think I'll continue to flash for fun thanks.

Each wand includes 5 LED lights and 1 white LED for high visibility in the dark and features reflective film inside which intensifies the light output. The wand features steady and flashing light modes with a third activating a white light at the top, turning it into a flashlight.

The SOS alarm button creates 120dB of loud, high pitched noise for enhanced safety. The magnetic base allows for easy and secure placement of the wand.

Our wands can be used for a range of applications, such as school walking schemes, marine signalling, car safety, directing traffic, crowd control, community events (such as walks, bike races, or runs), construction sites, hunting and hiking safety. It is the perfect safety device for people walking home in the dark.

They can also be used by police, medical teams, and firefighters. Bikers, runners, and walkers use them for increased visibility at night. They have even made a great addition to Halloween costumes, parties, light shows and concerts!

Features include:

3 modes: steady, flashing and torch
Lasts up to 400 hours on 3 AA batteries
360° Visibility from over 1 mile
Waterproof
Loud 120dB safety alarm
Magnetic base
Non-Slip handle and lanyard
Silicon rubber buttons
Rugged, impact resistant construction
Additional safety feature for vehicle use
