I have now recieved the following from Mr Martin Levi of Levi Boats:
"With regard to your old Levi boat it is in fact a Settimo Velo. It was manufacturd in Italy in my father's yard Cantiere Navaltecnica (Canav) in the mid sixties. It was manufactured in triple diagonal cold moulded mahogany. Most Settimo Velos were fitted with twin 165 HP Ford interceptors on stern drives, but a small number, including your one, were fitted with twin 210HP BPM Oceanics through V drives. The rudders acting as P brackets were designed by my father specifically for these boats."
So congratulations to those who said it was a Settimo Velo and thanks for your contributions.

PS has anyone seen a couple of 210HP BPM Oceanics going cheap?
