A search on here reveals a number of posts about leaving a boat in Brittany but some of the information may be out of date.
I’m currently in the Morbihan but need to leave the boat somewhere from the 1st September through to March next year. Rail links to Paris are important as I don’t have a vehicle here. The boat is 11.9m and draws 1.9m. This being my first year of leaving a boat in Brittany I’m a little bit green. So tips, advice, floating or ashore etc are all welcome.
Thank you in advance.

We've done it twice. Once in Vannes and once in L'Orient (Bassin à Flot in the town marina). Both on the TGV to Paris. No problems with either.

Similar size boat to yours, only 1.7m draft but that wasn't critical. L'Orient was last year Vannes was 9 years ago but we visited there last year and nothing seemed to have changed.

When I put Arzal in Google Maps and ask for directions to Paris by train it doesn’t find anything. I’ve read before about people leaving their boats in the Vielle River but I guess they must have a car locally.

There is a bus service from Arzal and La Roche Bernard to Vannes, where there is a railway station.
Vannes to Paris Montparnasse by Train from £20.15 | Trainline

I used the bus last year and it was fine. I think the fare was 2euros from LRB to Vannes.

Another possibility is to leave your yacht in the very sheltered basin at Redon, which has a railway station within walking distance.

We left ours in Roche Bernard one summer. Don't leave it in the water in that marina. All they seems to do is move your boat around and damage it; then do the usual French shrug.

You can get it taken out of water at Port d'Arzal Camoel, just inside the lock, or there is a big area the other side of Roche Bernard; not sure who runs it though.

There is also Arzon.

Arzal is the most secure but not near a train station. Vannes is good for the latter, but not always very secure as open to the public.

Comptoir-Nautique at Marzan. Port à Terre Marzan La Roche Bernard en bord de Vilaine Proprietor: Alexis Megret.

It is a well run yard with a locked compound. Showers with hot water (very hot). Plenty of power points and water outlets. Scrubbing-off station. Chandlery and repairs. But no crane on site. However, there is a crane on the La Roche Bernard side at Chantier de la Couronne which has recently been taken over by Comptoir-Nautique.

The bus stop for the Vannes bus I mentioned earlier is about 10-15 minutes walk away.

The OP would need to check what maximum draft he can handle though. And he can't take bilge-keelers.

ISTR the draft limit at Marzan is 1.8M, I needed 2.1M otherwise I would probably have gone there although I'm now happy to be in Arzal, which as mentioned above is very peaceful on the Camoel side but that suits us as we're happy to spend time there with plenty of walks and cycling opportunities.

I also fell foul of the draft limit at Marzan (1.9 IIRC, I drew 1.94) but I believe, via word of mouth, that this limit has now been increased.
