There looks like a stationery yacht (09.44) just North West of the Needles lighthouse. Can't make out if they're stuck or it's spectator

Was behind the pack going to Yarmouth this morning. Coastguard and lifeboats have been busy. Saw on race machine motoring back with less than half a mast up and the rest bent back into the cockpit.

60ft catamaran Coco De Mer has capsized near Bembridge Ledge Buoy in position 50 41.245N 001 02.896W. She is currently with mast underwater and only the hull is visible. Last reported drifting towards Sandown Bay at 2 kts.

This doesn’t seem to have been picked up even by Island local news. She’s a Gunboat 66, quite an experienced race crew.

Good conditions for us today. Not as damaging as the race a few years ago where it was 40+.
