I would like to inform everyone that the Royal Southern Yacht Club has withdrawn their application to close the two channels due to the overwhelming number of objections, common sense has prevailed.

You have still not stated your interest in this.

My interest in this is that I have been a river user for more than 40 years and I am also a member of the River Hamble Mooring Holders Association, which anyone can join, are you a member, why not look on our web site which is www.rhmha.org.uk for the princely sum of £5 a year you could join us and be kept fully in the picture.

interestingly as i went down the river yesterday i saw 3 people using the inner channel!!

good to hear common sense has prevailed
