Rowing skiff

I've been looking for a not too expensive rowing skiff I could use for a quick row in the afternoons.I considered buiding one but it might turn out to be more expensive than just buying one.It would have to be light and fast and also easy to put on the roofrack.

I got a fairly clapped out Salters skiff for about £200 off ebay, mended the cracks with epoxy, then spent about £200 on wood trim. Now have a nice 16ft rowing skiff, with 2 rowing positions and a comfy sterring seat.

There are a lot of Salters skiffs about. You could probably do the same.
