Rowing seat

I am looking for a second hand rowing seat, the kind you see in a single scull boat, anybody any ideas where I might look for one and how much I will need to pay.

Try a phone call to your nearest rowing club. For Fleetwood, that might be Lancaster. If you have a friend who lives in SW London, you could ask them to take a stroll along the Putney Embankment on a Saturday, and ask at the various clubs. Old seats sometimes collect in the back corners of workshops.

Try contacting manufaturers of sculls, as they often get iold boats as part ex for new ones. If the old boats are too past it, they break them up for spares. My boatclub gets many replacement parts cheap from this source.
