Last Sunday of the boat show we had to take our targa 47 back to Poole from Southampton ,
the Mrs ( luckily ) drove back and my youngest son and I took the boat, the winds were pretty constant up around 5-6 for a full 24 hrs before so we knew it was going to be a bit lumpy. Winds were s/w aswell so pretty much on the nose all the way back. we left ocean village and turned west into the Solent, when that was a little bumpy we knew it was going to interesting once past hurst point. Waves were breaking and the swell about 2-3 m, the sea looked white like the ones on you tube of North Sea fishing boats!
I was told that this boat was a good sea boat, Jfm has spoke highly about it which is one of the reasons why we went for a 47, I have to say it was bloody brilliant.!
