Ropecutter

I have acquired one of these ropecutters but without installation instructions. Can anyone confirm the correct position and method for me, ie. how close to prop and which side facing prop. Thanks.

Hello, If you pm me I can send you a picture of one fitted to my boat. I have just removed the cutter to replace the cutlass bearing and noticed the prop shaft has a small hole for locating the grub screw. It is quite effective having cut cleanly through rope on two occasions, one a poorly marked lobster pot, the other much to my embarrassment anchoring a trot of catmarans in Bembridge harbour!!
