Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with rope cutters, as I'm currently looking at the new Quickutter™ which seems like a better option than some of the older designs? you can find it on google.
Tell me about which ones you've fitted and how they've worked?
I'm a yacht sailor mainly but figured you motor types would have had more use for cutters?
Thanks

I don't know the relative effectiveness of the different designs. I had Strippers on my previous boat and they saved me twice, once in Alum Bay where I picked up a net and once in the middle on the Channel en route for Cherbourg. They worked a treat both times. May cost a little in speed and hence fuel consumption but well worthwhile.
