A quick update...
Yes I am still alive, and been busy.
Trying to get my own business up and running, and actually just on my first trip back offshore in 9 months.
Currently somewhere off Egypt in the med, onboard an old tub called the Rockwater 2
I oils like to say thanks for the messages I have had. It's been a difficult time, mums still alive but sometimes only just.

Will resurrect the build again soon.
The 50 ft trawler sailed merrily on its way to Ireland that I worked on.
Have a 50ft Dutch barge on the go next.

Have made some great contacts in the marine industry, commercially, and in the pleasure side, and hopefully... Fingers crossed will be full time working for myself soon. ...

I'll keep you updated.

And no, Spondon have gone under. Bought out via the back door, as Bob Stephenson died, and Stu had a belly full of Norton.
It's now a housing estate....
Norton own the name after buying in and doing some dodgy dealings apparently....
