Is it just me or is anybody else getting fed up with the Hamble ?
I have been on the river for some years now and ever sice the current harbour master started i ahve noticed big changes. Now there is no where to moor where you can walk ashore and stay overnight.
The hamble seems to be totally heading as a weekday home for racing boats and large that never move boats only.
Can anybody else tell me what they think of the hamble and what is going on...as my marina charges were raised by 10% this year...i was told that most of the rise was because of increased harbour dues...what for. The only thing i have seen are new marks on the way in and leading lights..that never get used. Oh and not to forget the nice new boats that thye have...????
