Used to launch my 3.2 honwave infl. there regularly. watch out for air draught at Houghton bridge at highish tide, it's VERY low and you need high tide to get more than a couple of miles upstream from the bridge ! Also watch out for weeds and debris in the river up from Arundel to Houghton, can be a little dicy on occasion, dont arsk how I know! Never managed to get to Pulborough though, sounds fun, have a great time.
