I am after some crimpable spade connectors that are bent at right angles to the spade to attach two wires to a USB socket. There are plenty available like the photo attached but I want some that are bent the other way so that the attached wires are kept within the the projected diameter of the USB socket. I tried bending standard spades but they break. Failing this I will probably solder and use shrink tube but I would prefer removable spade connectors if possible.

Not entirely clear, you mean the crimp part is at 90 degrees to the spade/blade?

Manufacturing process would make these hard to produce from thin sheet, I'm not sure there is such a thing.

Is this the type you are looking for

That is a flag crimp and requires a particular crimper (££££). I have never seen the type you describe and this sort of stuff paid off my mortgage. Maybe solder onto the receptacle of a standard uninsulated crimp and cut off the crimp tube?

Just bend the crimp into the shape you want and heatshrink over it.

No need for anything that fancy.

Solder them directly onto the socket terminals, glue inside the heat shrink, done.

Flag terminal crimp tool.
£15.66 on eBay, postage free.
I bought on a while ago when faced with a similar problem.
I don't use it that often, but it's in the tool box when I, or a fellow boat owner needs it.
