Hi,Rosie and welcome to the forums, you will need to post this on one of the dedicated sailing forums perhaps (PBO) to get a sensible answer to your question.Mainly stinkers on here due to bridges getting in the way of masts etc on upper bit of river.
There are many sailing east coasters over on PBO well able to give you answers and assistance with your question. However do come back and see us here as all types of Thames users are welcome.I boat just across the estuary on the hallowed waters of the Medway.

Try on the East Coast Forum; you'll get several recommendations. I use TS Rigging at Maldon, very good when they've done work for my boat in the Blackwater.

We WILL be counting the spoons !(and probably the fenders as well)

Shallowed indeed!

Haa....... might have read this .....had I not been down at my V.posh clubhouse enjoying a G&T while deciding on what to have from the extensive menu.
Are you also aware that a certain BCC member and "Hardy" owner is slumming it at RCC this weekend. He has been told to bring his own bib and spoon and to stay away from the silverware, both cutlery and trophies. :):):)

So, he'd rather slum it at RCC than support his own club in the grand skittles challenge against Harleyford Motor Yacht Club?
