Ah, might be too small. Also, has it occured to you that you will not ba able to hang an airdeck from davits? or were you planning to lose the davits as well, and use weaver snaps?

I did not know that I could not use davits for an airdeck....Why ?

My lose gameplan (liable to change post consultation) is to get an airdeck and smaller engine to keep in lazerette and inflate when required.

Nothing on the floor of an airdeck you can attach the falls to... Or if there were, you'd likely end up with the deck only hanging from the davits, and the rest of the tender long gone.

Anyway, sounds like weight isn't your problem. Saving 7kg is neither here nor there on a 6 ton+ boat, is it? Maybe your genny is an issue, but not the tender.
