Sun struggling to rise this morning over the Sea of Marmaris so the Fl(9) on the cardinal marking that island on which James Bond zapped the villian in 'The world is not enough' stands out. The Lighthouse below the Blue Mosque appears to be Fl(2)+2LFl. 10s but by the time I had collected my Misir Genesgi (or something like that - Corn Flakes to you) and had come back to check it, they had turned it off (0750) which was a bit of a surprise given that it's still as murky as the inside of a zookeeper's boot. the freshly squeezed orange juice is a bit bitter but the freshly squeezed Maitre d'hotel who says her name means Snowflake and that I am very handsome is very sweet.:encouragement:
The ferry traffic is fascinating to watch. I suppose every so often a couple of them collide with disastrous consequences but they seem to weave in and out between each other without fuss.
I would like to thank everyone who pays their taxes to the EU for selecting a hotel which matches my importance and dignity (the Conrad Hilton); quite the grandest room I have stayed in; the bathroom even has a waterfall in it. Very grateful to you all. Back tomorrow; best I go down and earn another daily fee....... I was thinking of squandering it and modernising TG at the boat show this year, how much are those Bosun style compasses nowadays?
